Service To Humanity

As Muslims we have an even larger responsibility of voicing our concerns and showing the true colours of Islam in establishing justice. Living comfortably in our homes, and sleeping in cozy beds makes us lose sight of the suffering of people found right here in our own back yards! This is why the Young Muslims of Canada has started initiatives to rectify social ills prevalent in our societies. Join us in the efforts to serve humanity.

Imams Al-Bukhari,  Muslim reported that Ibn ‘Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him, had said, “The Prophet was the most generous of people. He used to be the most generous in Ramadhan when he would meet with angel Jibreal and study the Quran with him. Angel Jibreal would meet with the Prophet every night in Ramadhan to teach him the Quran. The Prophet was so generous when he met with Jibreal, more generous than the wind that brings rain.”

Islam teaches humanity to help the needy and less fortunate. Naturally, the Prophet Muhammad [peace be upon him] was a social worker. He would put others before himself and his family.

purpleribbonCombat Violence Against Women
Islam demands that men honour and respect mothers, wives, daughters, sisters and all other women. Incidences of violence against women is an everyday tragedy in Canada. Domestic violence can cause physical and psychological harm to women. Nobody deserves to be abused in such a way.
